DUET Examination

DUET Examination : DUET 2023 is expected to be carried out in the third week of July 2023. Students wishful to take admission in UG courses offered by Delhi University will be required to appear in CUET 2023 while admission to PG courses will be thought DUET 2023.

The final date to apply for DUET 2023 PG programs has been extended . As per the DUET 2023 Examination Pattern, DUET 2023 will be carried out in an online medium for a duration of two hours.

The medium of DUET 2023 will be English medium only, except for Language-specific programs. The question paper is carried out for 400 marks where one mark will be subtracted for each wrong answer and 4 marks are awarded for every right answer.

DUET 2023 syllabus is diverse from all the programs provided by Delhi University. students will be entitled to take admission in PG, M.Phil and Ph.D. courses through DUET 2023 and UG courses through CUET 2023. 

Though, there will be two mediums of admission for postgraduate course- 50% of total seats provided will be filled on the basis of the student’s merit in the qualifying examination while the remaining 50% seats will be filled through DUET 2023 Rank attained by the student.

Delhi University Entrance Test (DUET) is carried out by Delhi University to deliver admission to aspirants in PG, MPhil, and Ph.D. courses. DUET 2023 examination is expected to be carried out in three shifts across examination centers in 28 cities.

Delhi University (DU) entrance examination is carried out on behalf of the National Testing Agency (NTA). DUET is carried out once a year.

DUET Exam : Eligibility Criteria for UG courses

In order to take admitted in undergraduate programs in Delhi University, students would be required to appear in CUET 2023. As per the common Eligibility Standards, student should have passed Class 12th or equivalent examination from a recognised board.

Though, students might also be required to fulfill the course-specific requirements for DUET 2023. CUET 2023will comprise 2 segments- IA as well as IB.

In the IA Segment, the student will be required to appear in at least 1 language specified in CUET Syllabus. Segment IB will be subject-detailed.

DUET Exam : Eligibility Criteria for PG courses

As per DUET 2023 Eligibility Standards, there is no age boundary for appearing in DUET 2023 for PG courses.

Though, students must make sure that they fulfils program-specific standards as available on the official site which is www.du.ac.in. students belonging to general category are obligatory to secure 50% marks in aggregate on the contrary 45% marks are needed for the student from OBC or Other Backward Class category.

Must Check Engineering in BTech Computer Science

students belonging to SC also known as Schedule Caste and ST also known as Schedule Tribe category should obtain 40% marks in aggregate in graduation to get admission in LLB program. The same percentage of marks as stated above are required in the duration of 3 or 5-year LLB programs to get admission in LLM courses.

Students who desire to get admission in MCA programs are required to get a total score of 60% qualifying marks in degree programs with the paper Mathematical Science as compulsory.

To get entrance in M. Com, students belonging to the general category should get 50% marks in aggregate and students from the OBC category should secure 45% whereas SC or ST students need to obtain 40% marks to pass graduation in commerce.

50% mark in graduation with B. Ed or else BAB Ed or else DEI Ed is required for the student who wants to get admission in courses M. Ed.

Delhi University (DU) will accept the registration forms for DUET entrance examination only for the eligible students. DUET 2023 eligibility standards comprises age limit, academic qualification as well as nationality requirements.
