CAT Eligibility Standards 2022 : is that the student should have completed graduation with a least 50% marks. Also, a five percent relaxation in qualifying marks will be given to reserved category students.
Students in the final year of graduation are also permitted to finish CAT 2022 application. Moreover, there is no age boundary to appear for the examination.
The previous year, the authority had studied the CAT eligibility standards and allowed the students to fill the registration forms using “promotion/pass” certification in place of mark sheets.
Though, the same is applicable for the 2022 session and may only be said after the release of the official announcement for CAT 2022. Also, students with the reserved category might take advantage of the reservation policy while filling out the online registration form.
The student must have completed his/her Bachelor’s degree course in any section from a documented university or have an equivalent qualification that is acknowledged by the Ministry of HRD, India.
For general and NC-OBC category students, the least percentage obligatory in the bachelor’s degree is 50%. Students from the reserved categories should achieve the least aggregate percentage of 45% in the bachelor’s course.
For students who are bestowed grades or CGPA, the conversion of grades or CGPA will be according to the procedure certified by the university/ college.
Students in the final year of the course or awaiting their results may also apply. In such cases, a student will have to submit a certificate allotted by the Principal or Registrar of the College or Institution latest by the detailed date.

The certificate must state that the student has finished the requirements of the program. There are convinced degrees that are measured as equivalent to a bachelor’s degree.
Students who own or are pursuing any of these degrees are also entitled to appear for CAT 2022. The equivalent qualifications valid for appearing in CAT are listed as follows a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology of four-year duration finished after 12th standard or Post B.Sc. or else Post Diploma.
A degree equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in Engineering and Technology of Professional Societies documented by MHRD/UPSC/AICTE for instance, AMIE by Institution of Engineers, India or else AMICE by Institute of Civil Engineers of India.
Qualification is corresponding to a bachelor’s degree documented by the Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi. Students with CA/CS/ICWA degrees (Gen: 50% & Scheduled Cast/Scheduled Tribe/ PWD: 45%) may also apply.
A student with any other qualification not listed here might also apply, but they will have to produce an equivalency certificate supplied by the Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi.
