IIT JAM 2022 Scorecard
IIT JAM 2022 Scorecard : JAM which is also known as Joint Admission Test for MSc courses is a national-level online entrance examination carried out for students seeking admission to MSc and above other PG courses provided by 20 IITs and IISc Bangalore.
Every year, thousands of candidates appear for the entrance examination carried out by one of the participating colleges of IIT JAM.
Students will give three hours to finish the entrance exam. The entrance exam was held in around 103 JAM examination centers, which are situated in 8 different IIT zones.
The JAM 2022 examination was carried out in a computer-based medium on February 13. The final date to fill IIT JAM registration form 2022 was October 14. Students might apply for JAM 2022 through the JAM Online Application Processing System (JOAPS) gateway.
The whole online admission procedure of JAM 2022 will be carried out on one single produced online portal termed JAM Online Processing System (JOAPS).
Eligible students are provided admission to 2802 seats at 20 IITs and IISc Bangalore for numerous courses including M.Sc, Joint M.Sc- Ph.D, M.Sc Ph.D. dual courses, integrated Ph.D., M.Sc- M.Tech as well as M.Sc-M.S (Research).
IIT JAM 2022 will be carried out for 7 papers – Biotechnology (BT), Chemistry (CY), Geology (GG), Mathematics (MA), Mathematical Sciences (MS), Physics (PH),as well as Economics.
Students might also apply for one or two tests depending upon their entitlement for the same. Students with equal or more marks than the qualifying cutoff will be requested the counseling that is common for the participating colleges.
Students may receive information about their JAM 2023 examination centers, counting JAM MBA examination centers and JAM centers for other subjects on their JAM admit cards.
They are allotted examination centers in one of the 8 IIT zones, which are IISc Bangalore, IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Kanpur, and IIT Kharagpur, IIT Madras as well as IIT Roorkee.
While filling up their IIT JAM registration form, students are allowed to select 3 exam centers. The first two examination centers must be in the same IIT zone.
Though, the 3rdcenter can be in any IIT region. The preference for the allotment of the examination center will be specified for the first two examination centers mentioned in the registration form. Though, allotting examination centers to students will be the choice of the JAM officials.
IIT JAM 2022 exam will be carried out in the computer-based medium for 7 test subjects that are Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Mathematical Statistics, Economics, Biotechnology as well as Geology.

The whole question paper will be separated into 3 sections that are A, B, and C. Section A contains 30 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) connecting 10 questions of one mark each and 20 questions of 2 marks each.
Section–B contains a total of 10 Multiple Select Questions (MCQs) carrying 2 marks each. Section C comprises a whole of 20 Numerical Answer Type (NAT) questions linking 10 questions of one mark each along with 10 questions of two marks each.
